We didn’t set out to build an app—we set out to help our family and yours.

Like so many parents, we found ourselves navigating the challenges of raising children with behavioral needs without a clear roadmap. Our daughter was diagnosed with a rare condition that brought seizures and developmental delays, and our journey with ADHD and autism-like behaviors began. Our son was also diagnosed with ADHD at 5 years old, and his behavior challenges also added significantly to our stress. Alongside the emotional toll, we struggled to stay organized, track what worked (and what didn’t), and find tools that actually fit into our everyday life.
Between therapy appointments, meltdowns, and endless Google searches, we kept thinking—there has to be a better way.
Behavior Genie was born from that moment. A desire to help not just our own family, but other families like ours—families looking for clarity, structure, and progress that could bring more peace to our lives.

Most behavior-tracking tools felt like they were made for clinicians, not parents. They were either too clinical, too complicated, or simply didn’t fit into the chaos of real life.

We wanted something different:

  • Simple enough to use in the moment
  • Smart enough to offer insights that actually helped
  • And structured enough to build consistency at home

So we teamed up with experienced developers and behavior consultants to create Behavior Genie—an app that empowers parents with the tools and support they need, all in one place.
